L'auteur propose une introduction à cette forme au travers de ses films phares et en présente des figures esthétiques importantes. ©Electre 2020 Le court-métrage apparaît comme une catégorie à part dans l'ensemble de la production cinématographique contemporaine. Pourtant, c'est avec lui que naît le cinéma à la toute fin du XIXe siècle.
